Shade Cloth ?

Someone here has attempted to keep their gutters free of leaves and debris by somehow trying to cover the gutter with shade cloth.

As you can see, the leaves have built up behind the cloth, and in time due to the small mesh, will get clogged with rotting debris. Not a good look
